This liqueur, otherwise known as Meinken's Cranger Leckerchen in Germany, has a delicious deep caramel flavour that is complemented by flavours of vanilla and a hint of hazelnut - it makes for a great nightcap.

Our caramel liqueur can be sipped, savoured and enjoyed many ways. We think it's perfect on its own - ice or no ice, whatever you prefer - it's delightful alongside an after dinner coffee and works well in cocktails such as an Espresso Martini.

This Christmas, we'll be making plenty of boozy hot drinks with this liqueur too!

Allergen: Please note this drink contains nuts.

Serving Suggestions

Our recommend serves for maximum enjoyment of this liqueur:
Neat in a brandy glass or tumbler. It's equally as tasty with or without ice! Sip it as a nightcap or alongside an after-dinner coffee.
Add a splash to a latte or a hot chocolate to turn it into a boozy hot drink. Perfect pick me up after a long walk.
This liqueur is also fabulous in a Salted Caramel Martini - recipe coming soon!

CRANGER LECKERCHEN'S STORY

Meinken's Cranger Leckerchen began its story as an experiment by Anne-Marie Meinken in Germany in the family pharmacy during the 1940s.
Leckerchen translates from German as "treat" and this is exactly what Anne-Marie created with a chemist's knowledge, the end result an indulgent and moreish sweet liqueur that tastes just as good today as it did back then.
